4/19/07 Greetings from the road....
Today, April 19 we are the Spin.com band of the day. If you click here, you can rate the band and I think the more votes we get,the more we have a chance at being the band of the month, then the band of the year, so vote away!

12/06/05 Man, it's been a while since we've updated. Shana's Dad acutally wrote in wondering what was going on....well what started out as a 1 week tweak in the studio to finish up the record turned into a 2 month crazy adventure, but we are happy to report that all songs have been mixed and the record is now finished awaiting release in the spring of '06. We can't believe it's actually done and that it will finally be born into the great big world. In the coming months, we'll also be revamping this website....

8/1/05 hello everyone, thanks for coming to sunset junction! Lots of stuff has been going on. Very exciting stuff. Hello Everyone,

First off, thanks to everyone who has called in and requested let's go sailing on KXLU. They have been playing us a bunch.

We just got back from having an amazing time in Tucson and Austin! We played a show at Hotel Congress with the Silversun Pickups and then we played a party for the Ship at the Long Branch Inn in Texas. Hotel Congress was one of the coolest places to play. We got to stay there too and there were bunk beds in some of the rooms. Luckily not in ours cause I probably would have fallen out if I had to sleep in the top bunk. The SSPU van broke down in El Paso, a city our drummer, Ghost Tiger, claims makes strange things happen. We met a really nice guy who ran a Chinese buffet there while the van got fixed. His hobbies included swimming and playing piano. In Austin, we got to see all of our favorite LA bands at the very first Ship party at SXSW. It was one of the funnest parties ever for real.

1/31/04
We hope your first month of the year went smoothly.   The show at the Parlour went great.  Thanks to everyone who came out.   We have a bunch of shows coming up, so scroll down!

1/13/04  Hello everyone,

let's go sailing song on KROQ 106.7 call the request line 1 (800) 520-1067 on sundays between midnight and 3 am. The "Rodney on the ROQ" show has our cd and has played songs from it! You can also email a request to them anytime to requests@kroq.com. Be sure to mention it is for Rodney's show.
